Blue Demon Challenge 2025

Your gift to Athletics is an investment in the lives of student-athletes at DePaul, and helps build a sense of community for all of DePaul University. During Blue Demon Challenge, your gift to Athletics can go even further.

• Athletics Challenge: Leading the charge, Coach Chris and Lori Holtmann will give $150,000 to motivate 1,500 to donate to athletics.
• Athletics Scholarship Challenge: When 75 people make a gift to any Athletics scholarship fund, Lenore (BUS '77, MBA '85) and Stephen (BUS '77, MBA '85) Micatka will donate $75,000!
• Athletics $1,000 donor challenge: For every gift of $1,000 or more to any Athletics fund, Jerry Rich will give $1,000, up to a total of $50,000!
• Dream Big Challenge: When 250 people make a gift to the Dream Big Fund, Trustee Therese and Jim Fauerbach will donate $150,000 to support DePaul Athletics!
• Basketball Excellence Challenge: Former player and Trustee Malik Murray (BUS '96, MBA '04) will give $200,000 to motivate 100 people to donate to the Fund for Basketball Excellence during the Blue Demon Challenge!
• Women's Basketball Challenge: Coach Jill Pizzotti and Tommy O'Donnell will give $50,000 to motivate 100 people to donate to Women's Basketball during Blue Demon Challenge!
• Men's Golf Challenge: When 100 people make a gift to Men's Golf, Brian (BUS '98) and Meg Coffman will contribute $50,000 to support the team!
• Men's Tennis Challenge: When 100 people make a gift to Men's Tennis, Tom (EDU '71, MA LAS '74) and Beth Kersten will contribute $50,000 to support the team!
• Track Field/Cross Country Challenge: When 100 people make a gift to Track and Field/Cross Country, Kurt Roderich  (BUS '84, MST '85) will contribute $10,000 to support the team!
• Women's Softball Challenge: When 100 people make a gift to Women's Softball, an anonymous donor will contribute $15,000 to support the team!
• Athletics 50 State Challenge: When someone from each of the 50 states makes a gift to any Athletics fund, Ed Fellin (BUS '80) will give $50,000!
