Blue Demon Challenge 2025

Today is Blue Demon Challenge, DePaul University's day of giving, when alumni, faculty and staff, students, families and friends come together to support the people, programs, and spaces that make DePaul so special.

A gift to the College of Science and Health (CSH) is a special opportunity to honor your DePaul education and support current and future hardworking, dedicated students in their studies and as they prepare for the future. During Blue Demon Challenge, your gift to CSH can go even further:

• College of Science and Health Challenge: When 225 people make a gift to any fund in the College of Science and Health, Stephen and Nicole VanderVoort will donate $40,000!
• College of Science and Health Challenge Scholarship Challenge: When 20 people make a gift to any scholarship fund in the College of Science and Health, Raymond A. Daly (MS '65) will give $10,000!
• Chemistry Challenge: When 15 people make a gift to the Fund for Chemistry, Judy Blumberg (MS BUS '80, MST '84) will give $2,000!
• Environmental Science Challenge: When 10 people make a gift to the Fund for Environmental Science, the Balough Family Fund for Sustainability Initiatives will donate $10,000!
• Family and Community Services: When 15 people make a gift supporting Family and Community Services, an anonymous donor will give $10,000!
• Psychology Challenge: When 15 people make a gift to the Fund for Psychology, an anonymous donor will give $2,000!
• Research Challenge: When 25 people make a gift to any research fund in the College of Science and Health, an anonymous donor will give $8,000 to CSH!
• Speech Language Pathology Clinic Challenge: When 30 people make a gift to the Speech Language Pathology Clinic, Stephen and Nicole VanderVoort will donate $10,000!
• Cities Project Challenge: When 60 people make a gift to the Cities Project, an anonymous donor will give $10,000! The Cities Project connects Chicago Public School students fighting poverty with university mentors and therapists to support healing, learning, and activism and to build community across our divided and unequal city.
