Thank you for your incredible generosity yesterday during the Blue Demon Challenge. Thanks to thousands of Blue Demons across the globe, we surpassed our goal and raised a total of $3,458,491 for the people, places and causes at DePaul that matter to us most. Here’s just a sample of what we accomplished:
- We unlocked over 50 challenges and matches for schools, colleges and departments across campus
- We secured gifts from all 50 states and from 15 countries
- During our three time-based challenges, the DePaul community made an average of three gifts every minute
- We brought Billy Blue Demon out of the vault! Visit the DePaul Spirit Shop to see the initial release of the Classic Collection, a salute to DePaul's nostalgic and iconic Billy Blue Demon logo
Most importantly, your generosity recognized the value of a DePaul education, and provided resources for DePaul students to reach their full potential and fulfill their dreams. While the Blue Demon Challenge may only be 24 hours, the impact you made will be felt for years to come.

We said that when DePaul raises $3,000,000 during the Blue Demon Challenge, Billy Blue Demon will leave the vault. Well, we just surpassed $3 million!!
Athletics will partner with Barnes & Noble’s team shop to release the Classic Collection, an initial salute to DePaul’s nostalgic and iconic Billy Blue Demon logo. Look for addtional information on Feb. 12 on how to order.
