Today is the Blue Demon Challenge, DePaul University's day of giving when alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff come together to support the people, programs, and spaces that make DePaul so special.


The Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media (CDM) has evolved in the past two decades into an interdisciplinary college with a broad range of innovative programs. The college is organized into three schools: the School of Computing (SoC), the School of Cinematic Arts (SCA), and the School of Design (SoD).  During the Blue Demon Challenge, your gift to CDM can go even further:

  • Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media Challenge: Help unlock a gift of $50,000 from an anonymous donor with your gift to any fund in CDM!
  • School of Design Challenge: Your gift to the Fund for the School of Design can help unlock $10,000 from an anonymous donor!
  • School of Computing Challenge: Gifts to the Fund for the School of Computing will help unlock $10,000 from an anonymous donor!
  • School of Cinematic Arts Challenges: Unlock thousands of dollars from The Forest Foundation with your gift to the School of Cinematic Arts! Support these specific funds to unlock the challenges:
    1. MFA Thesis Films Fund
    2. Inclusive Media Lab
    3. DePaul Independent Studio
