Blue Demon Challenge 2022

Your gift to Athletics is an investment in the lives of student-athletes at DePaul, and helps build a sense of community for all of DePaul University. During the Blue Demon Challenge, your gift to Athletics can go even further through the following challenges: 

• Race to 1,000 Athletics Gift Challenge: If we receive 1,000 gifts to any Athletics Fund, Bruce Huey (Bus '74, MST '79) will make an estate commitment for $250,000!  WE DID IT!
• Race to 1,650 Athletics Gift Challenge: If we receive 1,650 gifts to any Athletics Fund, Bruce Huey (Bus '74, MST '79) will make an estate commitment for $500,000!  WE DID IT!
• Race to 2,500 Athletics Gift Challenge: If we receive 2,500 gifts to any Athletics Fund, Bruce Huey (Bus '74, MST '79) will make an estate commitment for $750,000!  HELP US MOVE THE COUNTER ABOVE TO 2500 GIFTS FOR $750,000!
• Blue Demon Nation 50 States Challenge: If we receive a gift to any Athletics fund from all 50 states, Jennifer and Bradley Norris will give $50,000!
• Sarowitz Sports Challenges: When alumni and friends make 150 gifts to each of the funds listed below, the Sarowitz family will give $12,500 to each fund.

• Men's Basketball Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to the Fund for Men's Basketball, a donor who wishes to remain anonymous will give $100,000! 
• Spirit Squad Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to the Fund for the Spirit Squad, Joni Phillips (CSH '82) will give $5,000!
• The Coach Donald H. Amidei Endowed Scholarship for Track & Field/Cross Country Challenge: If we receive 30 gifts to The Coach Donald H. Amidei Endowed Scholarship for Track & Field/Cross Country, Pat (EDU '68, MED '72) and Melissa Savage will give $10,000!
• Athletics: Building the Brand Guiding Principle Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to the Building the Brand Guiding Principle Fund in Athletics, The Wicklander Family will give $100,000!
• Athletics: External Outreach Guiding Principle Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to the External Outreach Guiding Principle Fund in Athletics, Michael deAnda (BUS '88) will give $100,000!
• Athletics: Championship Experience Guiding Principle Challenge: If we receive 100 gifts to the Championship Experience Fund in Athletics, Jerry Rich, together with a donor who wishes to remain anonymous, will give $100,000!
• Athletics: Developing Future Leaders Guiding Principle Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to the Developing Future Leaders Guiding Principle Fund, Lisa (EDU '86) and John Nevins and the Sarowitz family will give $400,000!
• Athletics: Academic Excellence Guiding Principle Challenge: If we receive 150 gifts to Athletics scholarships, Basketball Alumni Earl S. Wylder (BUS '53, JD '58) and Denny Freund (EDU '64, MED '73) will give $100,000!
• Dream Big Fund Challenge: The Fund for Athletics is now the "Dream Big Fund." If we receive 200 gifts to the Dream Big Fund, Michael deAnda (BUS '88) and a group of anonymous donors will give $500,000!
