Questions and Answers

Below you will find answers to many common questions about Blue Demon Challenge 2018.

What is the Blue Demon Challenge?

The Blue Demon Challenge is DePaul's one-day giving challenge where alumni, students, faculty, staff, family and friends come together to support the University’s founding by making a gift to the area that means the most to them.

Why should I give to DePaul?

The Blue Demon Challenge is your chance to support the things that make DePaul special. When you make your gift to academic programs, scholarships, athletics, student groups or whichever aspect of DePaul you care about most, you're doing more than making a gift to a university. You're helping students prepare to change the world.

Why today?

Because your gift can have a greater impact than any other day of the year! If 1,000 people make a gift on February 22, an anonymous donor has pledged to give $50,000 to DePaul. Your gift can be the one that unlocks $50,000!

How much should I give?

You don't have to make a big gift to make a big difference. No matter how much you choose to give, your participation in the Blue Demon Challenge is incredibly meaningful.

Can I direct my gift?

You can direct your gift to the area of DePaul you care about most - providing scholarships, supporting your college/school, athletics, and more!

What else can I do?

Another valuable way to participate is by spreading the word. Encourage your friends, colleagues or fellow alumni to give at alumni.depaul.edu/bluedemonchallenge - on social media, tag your post with #bluedemonchallenge. You can help us reach even more people who care about DePaul.
