The Blue Demon Challenge is DePaul University's day of giving, when alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff come together to give back—and this year, our Challenge is bigger than ever! Your gift of any size TODAY can help us get one step closer to reaching our biggest goal yet: raising $1,000,000 in a single day!
Your gift to the School of Music is an investment in the lives of student-musicians at DePaul, and helps build a sense of community for all of DePaul University. During the Blue Demon Challenge, your gift to the School of Music can go even further through the following challenges:
- School of Music: If 50 donors designate their gift to any fund in the School of Music, a donor who wishes to remain anonymous will contribute an additional $50,000.
- Opera Endowment: All gifts directed to the Opera Endowment will be matched dollar-for dollar, up to $10,000, by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.
- Jazz Program: All gifts directed to the Jazz Program will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000, by a donor who wishes to remain anonymous.

Congratulations, DePaul community and thank you so much for your generosity.
Together, we made this the biggest Blue Demon Challenge in DePaul history. We blew past our goal and raised over $2,000,000! This is what our community accomplished:
- We created a new endowed scholarship by making gifts from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
- We unlocked $150,000 during three “power hours.” During the Brrright and Early Power Hour from 8 – 9 a.m., DePaul received a gift every 20 seconds.
- We unlocked challenges for all 10 schools and colleges. We unlocked over 10 challenges for DePaul Athletics.
- We made #BlueDemonChallenge trend on Twitter in Illinois.
Most importantly, we supported the people, places and causes at DePaul that matter most. While the Blue Demon Challenge may only be 24 hours, the impact will be felt for years to come.
